Axiom is a short film of mine about a man named Lyle, who struggles with muliple realities. It won a Silver Award at the National Scholastic Arts Awards and a Gold Key at the Regional Scholastic Arts Awards. It also won Best Cinematography at the Creative Alliance College Film Festival in Baltimore. It was a magnet project at my high school and a submission video that helped me get accepted to the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU. Thanks to everyone who helped make this a reality, and enjoy!

Oh sorry, the shooting itself seemed relatively simple to me but I guess the effort is what made it so strong.
Thanks
Thank you very much for your praise; I'm glad you liked it! I am, however, not exactly sure why you say there was comparatively little effort. This film went into pre-pro months before it was filmed. It was quickly shot (1 1/2 weeks) but the shooting was meticulously planned and difficult.
Nevertheless, I'm glad you liked it - thanks for adding it to your favorites. Share it with your friends!
I dug that shit man. With just two actors and a few locations you managed to create a short that has some depth. It really looks like this was easily and quickly shot. A perfect example of a film who's effort:quality ratio is severely unbalanced, something I really really really need to accomplish.
Thank's man, you've inspired me.
Oh wow great shit right there. There's so much energy, well established shots, a perfect length and everything. Yet it looks like it was relatively easy to shoot, plus shot in a short amount of time. Looks to me the result completely out matched the effort. Something I really really really need to get working on.
Thanks for the motivation.
Thanks! I'm excited!
Congrulations on getting into NYU!!!
Undergrad, I was just accepted. This was my submission video.
Dude, I see it now... that's hillarious, the shrink is surely full of himself :D
Haha, true... So, grad or undergrad ? I'm starting graduate in the Fall
Thank you, although I disagree about the "sucky" acting. You are correct about the psychiatrist, I wanted to convey the sense that he wasn't too helpful.
Ecstasy is indeed spelled incorrectly, but you spelled it wrong too. (It's 'ecstasy')
I'll be going to Tisch next year.
Good feel for cinematography
Good feel for color
Great music, flows awesome with the action.
Acting SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS
Although the psychologist (according to the titles) is actually a real doctor, he is shot/edited in such a way that one would think he has never heard of counseling.
Extasy is misspelled.
Do you go to Tisch ?
Thank you very much! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Love your work.
That was soooooooooo. Freaky. But great1:)
Thanks!
wow. this video is pretty amazing.
Thanks! It's for film school and also for my magnet project. You should come watch it on the 28th after school.
This is very good man. Is this for film school?
