One thing I love about the comedy genre is the opportunity to emulate specific visual styles as part of the humor. Director Todd Bieber’s primary visual reference was the meticulously shot “Wolf of Wall Street” so we had pretty big shoes to fill! The season comprised twelve short episodes largely shot on a single soundstage set. As Director of Photography I made it my mission to diversify the lighting and coverage options within the set so the series never felt stale. Fun trvivia fact: our city translight backdrop was originally used on the 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles live action film.
