Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking Recipe Videos

I first made movie magic with food wizard David Ma on Ignite, a short film for Apple showcasing their latest iPhone. Thanks to Food Network’s Harry Potter–themed baking show, we finally had the chance to create literal magic together. I studied the iconic look of the Harry Potter films and collaborated with David, our production designer, food stylist, and SFX artist to recreate the atmosphere of the wizarding world. The many food shooting techniques I learned during my time at Bon Appétit were essential in crafting the drool-worthy visuals. In post, I served as post supervisor and colorist, tracking 45 VFX shots and coordinating all review cuts and notes with Warner Bros. Because I was involved from A to Z, I was able to shoot with postproduction tools in mind, keeping the entire process efficient.
