MTV Middle of the Night Show

My tenure as director of photography for MTV’s genre-bending, nocturnal reality talk show was truly insane, in the best way. I spent prep rigorously testing and refining an equipment package that could thrive in a fast-paced, low-light, run-and-gun environment. As part of a small three-camera team, I also served as A-cam operator as we raced around NYC capturing unpredictable interactions between rotating celebrity hosts and real New Yorkers. We balanced that ENG energy with dozens of game-show-style segments that required far more intentional design, lighting, and coverage.
