As a longtime New Yorker working in the fast-paced entertainment industry, I immediately understood the need for this product: a meditation tool to help “Undo” the constant stresses of daily life. Director Andew Soltys and I developed a “oner” approach with a single, continuously moving shot representing the passage of time as we move through an onslaught of distractions. The only thing that can slow us down and provide relief is the product! Inspired by a shared love of Rube Goldberg machines, this highly coordinated effort required intense planning and rehearsal to get right. We finally got it in the can on take 24. Although I supervised a few screen replacements in post, 95% of the spot was unaltered practical magic.
